Tracy Tesmer has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry and holds an Associate Degree in Surveying and Construction Technology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from The University of Akron.
Formerly a successful CASE franchise owner, Tracy’s career has involved building projects ranging from homes, roads and bridges, to skyscrapers and hospitals. He started early with hands-on experience working his way through college as a carpenter and an engineering technician. A large part of Tracy’s career was spent with McDonald’s restaurants, overseeing various construction, remodeling, and real estate acquisition activities.
Sara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Business from Samford University and a Master’s degree in Marketing Research from the University of Georgia. Although she worked in marketing research for several years after graduation, her true passion has always been in design. Sara designed her first bathroom in 2004, and since then has been studying design and gaining hands-on experience in residential remodeling and design. She joined Tracy’s team in May of 2016. Her background in psychology and insights, along with her design talent and knowledge, help her truly understand clients’ needs and bring their dream rooms to life.
Charles has lived in the North Georgia area for over 30 years. He is a veteran of the US Navy and studied Business and Economics at North Georgia College. He started working with Tracy Tesmer in 2003 after many years of experience in residential remodeling. Charles is our lead project manager and works to make sure residential and office remodeling projects are well organized and go as smoothly as possible.
Chris has been in the construction industry for the past 35+ years. He studied engineering at LSU and has worked in different areas of construction, including residential new construction, remodeling, and home warranty. Most recently, Chris was a licensed Contractor in the state of Louisiana and built custom homes in the Baton Rouge area. Chris joined the TTDR team in January 2020 and his wealth of construction knowledge and ability to understand clients’ needs has been a huge asset to the team.
Lance has been working with TTDR since 2015. He is a major part of the construction team, overseeing site preparation, demo, and clean up. He also assists with finish carpentry, meets with building inspectors, and acts as assistant to the project managers.
Trevor joined the TTDR team in June of 2019. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of North Georgia. He has a variety of experience from working with clients in event planning and management to retail experience. He also has a great understanding of construction and home building which allows him to help both in the office and in the field. Trevor conducts site measures and creates as-built drawings of new projects, helps with permitting jobs, and many other tasks on-site during construction.
Jessica is our newest team member and started in March of 2021. She is a native of Northeast Georgia and has 15 years of diverse experience in residential and light commercial design, as well as visual merchandising management. She holds an Associates of fine art from Young Harris College and a Bachelor’s in interior design from Georgia State University. Jessica has a strong passion for helping people achieve spaces that are highly functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.
Charlie is a longstanding member of the Tracy Tesmer team and has held several different roles with the company throughout the years. Currently he is our business manager in charge of accounts payable and receivable among other bookkeeping tasks. His attention to detail and great personality round out the team.
Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art from the University of Georgia, and her background integrates multiple disciplines from art and science to landscaping and construction. With experience since 1999 in office work and visual communications, her versatility helps make the business office function efficiently. She is a Gainesville native and is familiar with properties in and around Hall County. Rachel joined Tracy Tesmer Design/Remodeling in November of 2018 and enjoys helping clients throughout the remodel process from initial remodeling inquiry to project completion.
