The best moments at home almost always happen in the kitchen. It is where conversations start, where friends drift toward, and where family naturally comes together. This 2021 remodel was designed to celebrate exactly that, a warm and welcoming space made to be shared. Every choice was guided by a single idea: create a kitchen that brings people together and makes them want to stay.
As a custom design and remodeling firm serving Gainesville and the greater North Georgia region since 1999, Tracy Tesmer Design and Remodeling believes your kitchen is the heart of your home. A full remodel can breathe new life into your cooking space, and this Place to Gather project shows how thoughtful design turns a kitchen into the true center of connection.
Warm, Inviting Tones That Welcome Everyone In
The comfort of this kitchen begins with its palette. Warm, natural color tones set a relaxed, welcoming mood that instantly puts people at ease. Rather than feeling cold or overly formal, the space was designed to feel open and approachable, the kind of kitchen where guests gather around the counter and no one is in a hurry to leave.
Sleek, Modern Features for Effortless Hosting
Bringing people together is easier when everything works beautifully. Throughout the kitchen, we added clean, modern features and fixtures that make hosting feel effortless. Considered lighting, refined hardware, and updated finishes deliver both style and dependable function, so the space is always ready for everything from casual weeknights to lively get-togethers.
Designed Around the Way You Entertain
A gathering kitchen has to work as hard as it welcomes. That is why we planned the layout, storage, and flow with connection in mind, creating an easy path between cooking, serving, and socializing. Whether it is a quiet family dinner or a house full of guests, the space was built to keep everyone comfortable and the conversation flowing.
Full-Service Design-Build Craftsmanship
As a design-build remodeler, we manage the entire process under one roof, from the first design concept to the final finishing detail. That means a smoother experience, clearer communication, and a finished kitchen that stays true to the vision we create together. For more than two decades, North Georgia homeowners have trusted us to deliver custom results with quality and care they can rely on.
