Tracy Tesmer has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry and holds an Associate Degree in Surveying and Construction Technology, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from The University of Akron.
Formerly a successful CASE franchise owner, Tracy’s career has involved building projects ranging from homes, roads and bridges, to skyscrapers and hospitals. He started early with hands-on experience working his way through college as a carpenter and an engineering technician. A large part of Tracy’s career was spent with McDonald’s restaurants, overseeing various construction, remodeling, and real estate acquisition activities.
Jan Tesmer

Jan Tesmer has over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Jan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgia State University and became a Certified Public Accountant with a major accounting firm in Atlanta.
Jan’s Financial Accounting career included working in real estate development, property management, and insurance.
She is also a retired classroom teacher with 20 years of experience in the Fulton County, Georgia school system, teaching Math in the elementary and middle schools.
Jan is organized, detail-oriented, and is delighted to be out of retirement, supporting the Tracy Tesmer Design and Remodeling team and our clients.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and studied Business and Economics at the University of North Georgia while accumulating years of experience in residential remodeling. Charles started working with Tracy Tesmer in 2003, putting his knowledge and skill to work for a wide range of clients. Charles is our lead project manager and ensures that residential and office remodeling projects are both well organized and successful.

After owning a CASE Handyman franchise in Gainesville for 10 years, Tracy Tesmer founded his own company in 2009 with a focus on remodeling, interior design and architecture. He used his experience, eye for detail and commitment to the customer to create a uniquely successful approach to remodeling, construction and design. He also designed a process for work that has seen TTDR become a model for success in North Georgia contracting.
